Training day with Joris Veerbeek: Network analysis
In this course you will learn the basics of network analysis: you will learn to perform such analyses using Gephi, to interpret network statistics and to create insightful network visualisations. You will also be able to work with your own dataset.
Admission is free, but the number of participants is limited, so please register as soon as possible (first come, first served). You can register before 15 June. After registration you will receive a link to the Teams-session, a course program and further instructions to prepare for the course. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration by sending an email to j.briggeman@uu.nl, so another participant can take your place.
The course will take place online in Teams (including two breaks). You will be asked to do some preparations in advance (readings, downloading software and datasets).

We are planning to repeat these courses next year. We also would like to inform you about the Summerschool Utrecht, which includes courses relevant for digital literacy, supported by the Centre for Digital Humanities.
Please note: in order to promote digital literacy amongst staff-members, attendance to these courses will be compensated by the Centre for Digital Humanities in terms of DCU (22 hours = 1 DCU). Each of these courses (including preparation) counts for 10 hours. The DCU’s will be automatically settled with your department at the end of the course.
