Join the launch of the new Special Interest Group (SIG) NLP@UU on Thursday, May 16th. NLP@UU builds on the existing SIG Text Mining, and embraces many more colleagues in Natural Language Processing (NLP) working across the Utrecht University campuses.

At the launch event, researchers from different domains and groups will share insights into their work developing and applying NLP techniques. They will explore how novel applications of quantitative text analysis can be used in scholarly research, and discuss how NLP@UU can promote interdisciplinarity and collaborations in research and teaching.

The meeting will include lunch offered by the focus area Applied Data Science and the Centre for Digital Humanities, offering a change to network and connect with your fellow colleagues.
