Data School research shows interaction between debates in the Dutch House of Representatives and social media

What is the dynamic between political debate in the Dutch House of Representatives (Tweede Kamer) and reactions, commentary and framing on social media?

Researchers from Data School and the Faculty of Humanities at Utrecht University analyzed large amounts of data of publicly accessible groups and accounts on X and Telegram and identified words that may indicate threat or even radicalization.

Conclusion is that there is indeed an exchange between the parliamentary debate and conversations on social media.
