Invitation to participate in Summer School 2023 ‘Exploring Culture Through Data’

Are you a (humanities) student or (beginning) researcher seeking a hands-on introduction to digital methods? Join the Summer School week Exploring Culture Through Data, organized by Data School from August 14th to 18th, 2023.

This engaging week-long summer school offers a comprehensive program with hands-on workshops and prominent guest lecturers. The team of hosts comprises of media and literary scholars, philosophers, and AI scientists.

No prior experience with digital methods is necessary; however, a strong desire to learn is essential. Both students and non-students from all disciplines are welcome to explore the fundamentals of Digital Humanities, such as data collection, data selection, and network analysis.

By the end of this Summer School, you will have gained proficiency in working with digital methods to collect, analyze and visualize complex data sets. Although the focus will be on social media data, the skills you acquire during this program to various data types and research fields.
