Renewed Python course for humanities staff
This fall, the Centre for Digital Humanities (CDH) has decided to teach the Python workshop in four course days, with one week in between each of them. This gives the participants more opportunity to practice with the material and to make the knowledge stick better.
After feedback from past semester on the Python workshop, the CDH adapted this popular course. The workshop previously consisted of two days in a row. Students indicated that they found the course useful, but too intense. For that reason, the teachers of the course, two developers of the Digital Humanities Lab, have now introduced this new format. The four workshop days will take place on Tuesday 1, 8, 15 and 22 November.
This beginner course is designed specifically for humanities teachers and researchers who want to learn the foundations of Python. No previous programming experience is needed.
