Posen Fellowship in Digital Humanities & Indexing
The Posen Library of Jewish Culture and Civilization seeks to create a cohort of 10-15 Fellows in Digital Humanities & Indexing with graduate level work in digital humanities, digital archiving, or metadata and indexing, as well as a passion for Jewish Studies.
Fellows will spend the bulk of their time working with the primary sources of The Posen Library (5 of 10 volumes published to date), tagging the texts and artwork according to theme, genre, and geography. In addition to this indexing work, this is a professional development opportunity that will include group workshops and opportunities to learn from digital humanities and publishing professionals. All ranks of scholars will be considered: graduate students, ABD, post-doctoral.
Applications will be accepted until 8:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.
