Conference: Words in Numbers – Data-driven approaches to texts in the humanities and social sciences
On 27 & 28 March 2025, Ruhr University’s Projekt RUNIP organises the international conference Words in Numbers – Data-driven approaches to texts in the humanities and social sciences. The conference will take place at the ZukunftsZentrumZollverein in Essen, Germany.
This event is aimed at early-career scholars in theology, religious studies, history, linguistics, social sciences, and law who use computer-aided methods in their research or are interested in these methods.
Keynote speakers include Ruhr University’s Professor of Computational Linguistics Stefanie Dipper and Emory University’s Professor of Quantitative Methods Jo Guldi.
The conference calls for short talks or poster presentations to be submitted by 1 December 2024.
