How might we develop strategies and practices that build bridges within our communities, particularly among researchers, data managers, educators, research software engineers, graduate students, librarians, and other research professionals? As we continue to enhance our competencies in digital research methods and management, how might we translate those competencies toward partnerships in scholarly endeavors?

The Utrecht Digital Competence Center (UDCC) network meets every second Tuesday of the month. The UDCC Forum is open to all Utrecht University colleagues interested in digital competences.

These meetings usually consist of two parts. The first half is an open agenda, put together for members of the UDCC community to share their work and interests within the network. In the second, a particular topical issue is discussed in more depth. This month’s topic will be led by CDH software engineer Mees van Stiphout and Dan Rudmann.

The Forum is ‘on the move’ – it lands at a different location at Utrecht University each month.

The UDCC network hopes to see you on 9 December at the Bucheliuszaal, USP University Library, room 6.18. All are welcome, no registration is necessary.

What is the UDCC?

The UDCC is the network of all research support teams at Utrecht University, including the CDH Research Software Lab. The UDCC network aims to bridge boundaries, increase visibility and experience a sense of community when co-creating digital competences to support research at Utrecht University.
