Centre for Digital Humanities
The CDH can support teaching staff in enriching their courses with DH techniques by:
- Providing technical support, including assistance with upscaling, setting up pilots and demos, preparing sample materials, or updating small databases or corpora;
- Offering substantive support and personal consultation with a DH expert on possible student assignments, sources, and methods;
- Providing (guest) lecturers for working groups in courses, workshops, and lectures;
- Funding and support via the CDH Small Grants Program for:
- DCU compensation for expanding courses with DH methods;
- Training costs for acquiring new DH skills (outside the CDH program);
- (Co-)financing DH-themed workshops within the Faculty of Humanities.
- Organizing weekly Digital Humanities walk-in hours for personalized support: Every Thursday from 14:00 to 15:00 in the Digital Humanities Workspace (room 0.32) of the University Library City Centre. During these sessions, a developer from the Research Software Lab, support staff from the Data School, a member from Research Data Management (RDM) Support, and a DH specialist from the University Library are available to answer all your DH-related questions.
