CDH Student Grant

With this Small Grant, the CDH supports students who wish to present their work that includes a substantial digital humanities component – whether in the form of a paper, poster, demo, or other contribution – at a conference, seminar, workshop, or other event.

Who can apply?

All students from the Faculty of Humanities at Utrecht University.

Eligible costs

The CDH can contribute up to €250,- per student to cover expenses such as travel, accommodation and registration fees.

How to apply

Submit a short proposal of 200-300 words (in English or Dutch), including:

• A description of the event;
• Your abstract;
• A concise budget overview.

Please send your proposal to cdh@uu.nl, with the subject line: ‘CDH Small Grants Proposal – Student Grant’. Kindly note that accepted abstracts will also be shared in the CDH newsletter to inspire fellow students.

Deadline

This is an ongoing call, open as long as funds are available. Grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and distributed as evenly as possible across the four departments. Decisions are made within 2 weeks.
