Data School at #PrivacyCamp23
On January 25, Data School attended a panel in the 11th edition of Privacy Camp in Brussels. Privacy Camp is an annual conference that brings together digital rights advocates, activists, academics and policy-makers from all around Europe and beyond to discuss the most pressing issues facing human rights online.
The panel to which the Data School was invited consisted of experts from the perspectives of law/industry (AI lawyer Joost Gerritsen), government (data scientist Willy Tadema), and academia (Iris Muis, lead operations at Data School). They discussed the best and worst practices around data ethics implementation and the developments in the context of The Netherlands around digital ethical awareness. Mirko Schäfer, cofounder of Data School, was moderator.
