Centre for Digital Humanities launches two Calls to Action for teachers
The possibilities of digital humanities (DH) appeal most to students when they are introduced by their own teachers with applications in their own field. The Centre for Digital Humanities (CDH) has launched two ongoing Small Grants programs: one to promote the integration of digital humanities methods into the courses of the Faculty of Humanities and one to expand the teacher’s digital skills.
The Small Grants Call for DH course enhancement aims to promote the integration of digital humanities methods into the BA and MA courses taught in the Faculty of Humanities at Utrecht University. The CDH calls on teachers at the Faculty of Humanities to submit concrete plans to digitize their course. Read more about this call here.
The Small Grants Call for expanding teacher’s digital skills aims to increase and broaden digital humanities skills among teachers by offering various options for tailormade professionalization. With this call humanities teachers can submit a motivated proposal on how to enhance their knowledge and skills. Read more about this call here.
These are ongoing calls and submissions may continue until November 1st, 2023. The CDH has a limited annual budget for these grants, so contributions are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
